The role is responsible for overseeing comprehensive risk assessments across major projects while simultaneously driving initiatives to enhance risk awareness and cultural transformation. The position requires deep engagement in project lifecycle risk management, from initial assessment to monitoring and reporting, while also liasoning organization-wide risk awareness programs and cultural change initiatives.These responsibilities are carried out WITH the objective of:

  • Ensuring robust risk management practices across all major projects.
  • Fostering a strong risk-aware culture throughout the organization.
  • Developing and implementing risk awareness programs.

These objectives are pursued WITHIN the limits of KE values, organization policies and SOPs, guidelines from supervisor and departmental guidelines and objectives.Minimum Requirements:Graduate / ACCA / Risk Management Qualification with atleast 3 years of experience in a reputed organization.Skills:

  • Risk identification processes across all major projects using structured methodologies (workshops, interviews, documentation reviews)
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive risk taxonomy specific to project types
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify technical, operational, and strategic risks
  • Identifying emerging risks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Oversee qualitative and quantitative risk assessments for identified project risks
  • Lead the development of risk assessment criteria aligned with organizational risk appetite
  • Determining probability and impact ratings for identified risks
  • Evaluate interdependencies between different project risks and assess cumulative impact of multiple risks on project objectives
  • Review and validate risk assessment results with key stakeholders
  • Prioritize risks based on assessment results and organizational criteria
  • Establish key risk indicators (KRIs) for critical project risks
  • Track risk mitigation effectiveness through defined metrics
  • Monitor changes in risk levels and emerging risks throughout project lifecycle
  • Track project milestones against risk indicators
  • Oversee the preparation of regular risk status reports for senior management
  • Create executive summaries of key risk areas and mitigation progress
  • Collaborate with Project Owners and Project Managers throughout the project life cycle
  • Implement project risk management framework
  • Ensure proper documentation and tracking of project risks
  • Oversee the maintenance of project risk registers

Risk Culture and Awareness Initiatives (40%)

  • Lead the development and implementation of various risk awareness programs
  • Design and oversee risk training modules and workshops
  • Drive cultural transformation initiatives related to risk management
  • Develop engagement strategies for enhancing risk awareness
  • Lead stakeholder engagement initiatives and focus group sessions
  • Oversee the preparation of risk reports for senior management
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration in risk management
  • Coordinate with external consultants and subject matter experts
