Job description: We are working with an award winning global manufacturing business in the North Manchester area who are looking to onboard a Demand Planner, they have a very impressive supply chain function and are looking for someone from a similar background, i.e. manufacturing, it would be advantageous to have someone who has a solid understanding of process improvements and streamlining supply chain efficiencies.Demand Planner – The Package:Bupa Private MedicalMediCash33 days holiday EXCLUDING bank holidaysFlexitime – Start and finish timesHybrid working – 2 days from home, 3 days from the office.Extensive retail discountSalary – £35,000 P/ADemand Planner – The Responsibilities:Develop and maintain demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and customer inputLead the monthly demand planning process, coordinating with sales, marketing and operations teamsMonitor forecast accuracy and implement continuous improvement strategiesAnalyse sales and inventory trends to inform planning decisionsSupport S&OP processes and ensure alignment with business objectivesColloborate with supply planners to ensure product availability and manage stock levels effectivelyIdentify demand risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to managementGeneral regular forecast and KPI reports to internal stakeholders.Demand Planner – Experience & Profile:Proven experience in demand planning, supply chain or inventory management 3+ years preferredStrong analytical and numerical skills with proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP Preferred)Experience with forecasting tools or demand planning software is an advantageExcellent communication skills across multi-function

Expected salary: £35000 per year
