In this role, you’ll secure our platform, design scalable solutions and clear roadblocks to empower our development teams. Hands-On Impact: Build commercial expertise as you ensure our technical systems are robust and effective in supporting business outcomes.What You’ll Do:

• Build and maintain a scalable Core Data Platform.
• Ensure the reliability and availability of our data platform.
• Follow best practices to guarantee data privacy and security.
• Plan and deliver platform changes inspired by DevOps practices.
• Join the on-call roster and respond to incidents involving the data platform.

What We’re Looking For:

• 2 to 5 years of experience administering PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
• Ability to manage database infrastructure in a public cloud.
• Experience participating in an on-call roster.
• Solid knowledge of Windows Clustering and Windows Server O/S.
• Familiarity with Linux or Serverless apps (a bonus, but not required).
• Strong understanding of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) concepts.
• Experienced in scripting languages, like T-SQL, Powershell, Python, and Terraform.
• Knowledge of cloud data services and their use cases.
• Ability to make calm, informed decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both in-person and via collaboration tools.
• Self-motivated and proactive in identifying ways to improve the platform.
• Collaborative and transparent approach to problem-solving.
• A team player with a passion for helping others succeed.
