Job description: Our client, a Public Listed Company, is looking for high-caliber person to fill the position.工作職責

Responsible for the overall design and implementation of the database for the system with application and data migration support for Cloud projects.
Lead and mentor a team of database administrators, providing guidance and support on best practices.
Design, implement, and maintain database systems to ensure high availability and reliability.
Monitor database performance and optimize as necessary to ensure efficiency.
Oversee database security, backup, and recovery procedures.
Collaborate with development and IT teams to support application development and deployment.
Implement and enforce database policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Evaluate and recommend new database technologies and tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner.
Prepare and present reports on database performance and team activities to management.

工作要求

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Database Administrator with 2+ years experience in leadership role is preferable.
Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB, SQL Server, MongoDB, etc).
Experience with database performance tuning, backup, and recovery.
Experience with cloud-based database solutions.
Familiarity with database security best practices.
Professional certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator) will be add advantage
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python, Powershell, etc) is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
