Job description: Our client, a Public Listed Company, is looking for high-caliber person to fill the position.工作職責

• Responsible for the overall design and implementation of the database for the system with application and data migration support for Cloud projects.
• Lead and mentor a team of database administrators, providing guidance and support on best practices.
• Design, implement, and maintain database systems to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Monitor database performance and optimize as necessary to ensure efficiency.
• Oversee database security, backup, and recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with development and IT teams to support application development and deployment.
• Implement and enforce database policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Evaluate and recommend new database technologies and tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner.
• Prepare and present reports on database performance and team activities to management.

工作要求

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Database Administrator with 2+ years experience in leadership role is preferable.
• Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB, SQL Server, MongoDB, etc).
• Experience with database performance tuning, backup, and recovery.
• Experience with cloud-based database solutions.
• Familiarity with database security best practices.
• Professional certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator) will be add advantage
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python, Powershell, etc) is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
