Posting Date: 2025-05-20HGC Global Communications LimitedDatabase AdministratorResponsibilities:Provide database support for Oracle, MSSQL and Mysql Databases within Unix and Wintel environmentUndertake DBA role to manage all databases, including database patching, upgrade, performance tuning, monitoring, backup and recovery for critical systemsProvide technical assistance to the application team for project developmentInstall and configure various Oracle database products and HA solutions, including Oracle RAC, Oracle Data Guard and Oracle Golden GatePerform development using PL/SQL, Unix scripts & JAVAPerform system administration & monitoring on Unix, Linux & Windows serversRequirements:Degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or other relevant disciplineAt least 3 years of work experience in Oracle database administration and supportExperience in different kinds of database recovery methodsExperience in handling VLDB and performance tuningExperience in system development with Unix scripts, JAVA, SQL and PL/SQLExperience with other other non-relational databases, including MongoDB, Hadoop will be an advantageOff-day on-call standby support is requiredWe offer competitive salary package and career development opportunity.
