Job description: OverviewSusquehanna is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Post Trade technology team who are responsible for processing and storing all trading activity across the APAC region.This team builds applications used to reconcile Prime Broker data, produce valuations / P&L, provide services used in critical business processes and generate reporting across the firm.The successful candidate should have a proven track record of designing, developing, and implementing client/server applications using C# and Oracle, being equally adept in either one. Taking projects through the entire software development cycle from requirements gathering to production release. • 5+ years of experience in software development (Oracle and C#)
• An excellent understanding of Database design allied with a knowledge of Object-oriented programming.
• Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Experience with any of the following would be beneficial

o Working with very large datasets / Hadoop
o Python
o NoSQL databases
