• Applications Administration, manage, configure, and maintain the Oracle EBS R12.2.x
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues
• Plan and execute patching and upgrade activities ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and adherence to best practices.
• Communicate environment maintenance schedules, refresh schedules, and outages. Negotiate downtimes with key constituents, business and production support and set expectations for critical activities.
• Work closely with production & project development teams to identify issues, driving issue resolution.
• Create documentation and Knowledge artifacts for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members as needed.
• Be a liaison with Oracle support and other third-party vendors to resolve issues, escalate support tickets, and stay informed about product updates and best practices.
• Coordinate code deployments with development and QA teams.

QualificationsRequired Skills:

• 4+ years of experience as Oracle ERP APPS DBA, administering Oracle EBS R12.2+, Oracle Fusion ERP and overall, 5 to 7 experience in software development and application administration
• Must have experience in EBS Application architecture, Concurrent managers, Workflow, layout of application on infrastructure, etc.
• Must have excellent knowledge in cloning, patching, backup recovery of EBS R12.2+ application including knowledge of ODI & OBIEE, Performance tuning, SQL profiling, DB export/import and some database DBA skills.
• Knowledge of system administration functionality within Oracle EBS, Unix Shell scripting skills
• Experience in EBS code deployment tools such as Quest Stat or Kintana is a plus
• Well versed with application refreshes
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with team members located in multiple geographies and time zones.
• Ability to manage and supervise DBA tasks in the team.
• Responsible for providing day-to-day status and maintenance for Oracle EBS.
• Proficient in Oracle Fusion applications and Oracle OCI (various Iaas/Paas Services ex OIC, ADW & OAC).
• Any relevent Oracle OCI certification is a plus

Skills Preferred:

• Strong scripting skills, i.e., bash / unix shell, SQL and SQLPlus, etc. is desired. Knowledge of application architecture, application patching
• Strong understanding of storage, networking, filesystem layout is required.

Required Experience & Education:

• Bachelors degree in computer science
