Job description: Data Scientist Location: Westmeath Salary: €65,000-75,000On-siteMy financial services client is on the lookout for a talented Data Scientist to join their high-performing and growing team. You will be responsible for analysing the potential of their complex data sets to generating insight and predictions that will have a real impact on business decisions. You will also collaborate closely with key stakeholders to define requirements and ensure requests are met.Requirements:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.3+ years of experience in a data science or analytics role (or equivalent experience).Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and common data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow).Strong knowledge of statistical techniques, machine learning, and data modelling.Understanding of BI strategies and how they relate to Data Science/Analysis.Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.Ability to communicate and engage with stakeholders to define requests and report insights.Nice to have:Financial services or insurance experience.Good understanding of LLMs and NLP.Benefits:PensionHealthcareBonusFlexibility to work 1 day from home per weekIf this role as a Data Scientist interests and suits you, then apply using the link below.
