Job description: Functions: A. Does (The tasks / responsibilities that the role performs to address requirements in Key Result Areas) Work with business subject matter experts and data developers to create data testing strategies Develop automated tests for data assets Design, monitor and maintain data quality reports, KPIs & trends for the internal data systems Create data quality test plans and test cases Execute and automate data quality test cases, and perform bug tracking Help create and implement data quality processes and requirements Analyze large and complex data for quality issues relating to uniqueness, completeness, validity, consistency, timeliness, integrity, and accuracy Collaborate with data engineers, application developers, business owners, business subject matter experts, and data operations team to ensure the accuracy of production data pipielne designs and implementations Support the development and implementation of data quality management policies and best practices for improving the overall health of enterprise data Share Data Quality knowledge and best practices with team members and others throughout the organization Maintain and apply a working knowledge of industry best practices, testing tools, and techniques B. Displays (The Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviors indicating how tasks / responsibilities will be performed) Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks and principles Strong knowledge of internal auditing methodologies Result oriented, willing to commit to a direction and drive operations to completion Able to manage adversity and challenging situations Able to develop cooperative and constructive working relationships Able to handle complaints, settle disputes and resolve conflicts and negotiate with others Highly developed skills in priority setting and alignment of project priorities with strategy Able to breakdown complex problems and projects into manageable goals Able to get the root cause of complex issues and develop sound and timely resolutions Ability to retain strategic direction in a rapidly evolving company culture Attention to detail C. Delivers (The specific outputs / tangible results produced by the role; resources responsible for) Write data quality test plans and routines Develop and maintain data quality reports, KPIs, and trends Raises data quality issues ticket to the data operations team and clears open data quality issues once remediation is applied KPIs Data quality metrics Data quality ticket closure rate Data quality enablement and empowerment Qualifications: Required Skills and Educational Experience: Bachelors in Computer Science or Information Systems or 2+ years’ experience with corporate data management systems in high-compliance contexts Data management related certifications (e.g., CDMP certification) is a plus Ability to read/write SQL queries Experience working in a Big Data environment, dealing with large diverse data sets Familiarity with Python is a plus Demonstrates knowledge of structured testing methodology, with a proven ability to break down business requirements/functional/non-functional requirements into high and detailed test cases and test scenarios. Strong communication / organizational skills, analytical ability, and attention to detail.

Expected salary: 30000 – 50000 per month
