Hybrid in GTA
ContractWe are seeking an experienced Data Modeler for a hybrid contract role in the GTA. You will play a key role in a large-scale modernization initiative, designing and optimizing data models for both legacy and cloud-based environments.Key Responsibilities
Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with business needs.
Optimize data models for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Support legacy-to-cloud migration and ensure seamless integration.
Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, and developers in an agile environment.
Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory requirements.
Engage with business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable solutions.Required Qualifications
4-6 years of data modeling and database design experience.
Strong SQL skills and data warehousing expertise.
Proficiency in data modeling tools
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and ETL/ELT tools
Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with big data technologies
Background in legacy system modernization.
