Your work will shape how we collect, connect, and use environmental data-from plate to pasture-to drive decisions, increase transparency, and unlock value for our suppliers, customers, our business and the planet.You’ll lead:
Your Day-to-Day:This role brings nature impact and systems together-you’ll design data solutions that drive environmental action, support farmers, and enable Silver Fern Farms to lead the way in nature-positive food production. You’ll be responsible for:
Develop and deliver a cross-functional data approach to bring the Nature Positive Roadmap to life, aligning efforts across teams including TnT, sales, marketing, customer experience, and livestock. * Identifying and coordinating technology partnersWork with the Nature Positive Design Group to scout and manage data/tech partners, initiate pilot projects, and oversee integration planning and service agreements. * Driving data integration, collection, and analysisBuild and manage robust datasets that capture key environmental metrics like GHG emissions, water usage, soil health, and biodiversity-supporting alignment with frameworks like TNFD and SBTN. * Owning the Nature Positive Index and reportingAdvance and maintain our Nature Positive Index and visualisation tools; ensure it reflects market needs, aligns with global standards, and empowers practical on-farm decisions. * Designing nature market-ready data templatesCreate user-friendly, standards-compliant templates that support participation in nature and credit markets, ensuring they’re accessible and technically sound. * Providing training and supportLead the development of tools, resources, and training to ensure internal teams and farmer suppliers can confidently engage with and apply nature data.Through this work, you’ll help tell a powerful, evidence-based story: how New Zealand farmers are leading globally in regenerative, nature-positive farming.Ōu Pūkenga | About You:You’re a rare blend of technical depth, design led thinking, and creative curiosity.
