If so, this would be a great opportunity for you!Our client, a top 5 bank, is looking for a Data Governance Senior Consultant in Toronto for a 6-month contractWorking Hours: Hybrid //2 mandatory core onsite days per week. Core day is Tuesday, Flex second onsite day per week. 2nd Friday every month. Some weeks are total 3 onsite days.Advantages

Responsibilities
Relationship Management – Relationship manager and collaborative consultant with business partners for all matters relating to data governance. Understand, review and document feedback on the evolving Data Governance program and its operationalization. Manage relationships , as well as project and initiative, within the Administration Functional Group.
Business Management – Support the Data Governance team, work in a fast paced environment including the documentation and maintenance of materials that support the data governance implementation including procedure documents. Identify and implement opportunities for improving the efficiency of processes.
Understand Requirements – Conduct analysis of processes and functional or reporting requirements to document, communicate the best practices to stakeholders. Support the definition, development, and ongoing measurement of quality metrics ensuring compliance with data related policies and standards.Qualifications
Must Have Requirement:

• Financial institution experience
• Data governance experience – 2+ years
• Microsoft office suite// solid knowledge of excel

○ Vlookups
○ If statements

• Presentation skills // STRONG communication
• Relationship management

Nice to Have:

• Experience or working knowledge of workiva
• DCAM (Data Management Capability Assessment Model) Certification
