Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it. Apple Operations team is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join the Technical Programs & Asset Management team. This team is involved in the Material Supply Management, mainly focusing on managing assets in one of the most dynamic and efficient supply chains in the world, powered by world class systems and tools. These enable the team to effectively manage assets, and bring supply chain intelligence to the forefront of our decisions. By joining our team, you will work on data-driven solutions that directly support the business, helping to streamline operations and enhance decision-making. You will need a combination of technical expertise, and project management skills to develop and execute data-driven models and process improvement initiatives, both regionally and globally. You will interact directly with multi-functional teams across the Supply Chain, internal Apple functional teams and externally with both, suppliers and contract manufacturers. As a Data Engineer, you are passionate about turning data into impactful insights, and driving creative solutions. You are skilled at creating analytical models and interactive visualizations with a strong business acumen. If you are a motivated self-starter, comfortable navigating through ambiguity to evaluate complex information, analyze data from multiple angles, build analytical workflows, and deliver findings that have a direct impact on the business, then you should consider joining us.DescriptionFocus on interpreting data to identify trends and insights, prepare reports, create dashboards, and support decision-making using tools like Tableau, Datalab (Streamlit) This role requires the individual to work in a fast paced environment, perform effectively under dynamic conditions such as directional changes, tight deadlines and limited resources. Design, build, and maintain data infrastructure (Snowflake/MySQL) to ensure data is collected, stored, and processed efficiently, using technologies like SQL, Python Work closely with key partners in developing and testing (UAT) system improvements to ensure solutions are fit for purpose Ensure data integrity of business related systems (SAP, etc.), and enable data quality by setting up frameworks Communicate results and insights effectively to partners, providing clear and actionable recommendations Keep up to date with industry leading technologies, tools, and best practicesMinimum Qualifications

  • Proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience handling large datasets
  • Experience with data modeling in Snowflake, performance tuning of queries and optimization
  • Proficiency in design and development of custom ETL pipelines in Datalab/Tableau using SQL and scripting languages and workflow management tools like Airflow
  • Working knowledge of SAP and related data structures
  • Project management skills including performing testing (UAT) to support system implementations and upgrades
  • Ability to communicate technical issues with a non-technical audience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelorʼs or Masterʼs degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Operations Research or related field preferred
  • A passion for research, innovation, and optimizing real-world systems for business impact
  • Practical experience and theoretical understanding of algorithms for classification, clustering, and anomaly detection
  • Experience with version control systems, testing, and migration tools for database and software
  • Experience with AIML and GenAI solutions and applications for supply chain use cases
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work individually or as part of a team
