Job description: OverviewOur client is a well-known conglomerate and they are seeking a talented and experienced Data Architect to join their team. Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize data architecture solutions to meet business objectives
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and define data architecture requirements
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of data architecture with business goals
• Oversee data governance and compliance processes to ensure data integrity and security
• Provide guidance and mentorship to the data engineering team
• Adopting Azure cloud services and conduct data analytics and reporting
• Collaborate with vendors to evaluate and integrate new technologies and tools
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in data architecture and analytics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science or a related field
• 8 years of experience in building architect, data warehousing or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and data integration, and data governance
• Proficiency in managing Azure cloud service including data lake, databricks, and data factory
• Familiar with Power BI/Tableau
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
