Prepare and deliver data analysis reports and spreadsheets to meet business needs; collaborate with teams to analyze data and big data for optimal utilization.
Conduct data mining and analysis using advanced big data technologies and tools to extract valuable insights, provide accurate analyses and predictions, and support decision-making for products and operations.
Develop and manage data product strategies and project plans; optimize existing product features and user experiences to enhance data product usage by business teams.
Partner with engineers to create high-quality foundational data, ensuring comprehensive and accurate data sets that enhance the value of data assets.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Over 5 years of solid experience in data and business analysis, preferably within the banking or finance sector.
Proficient in SQL, SAS, and data modeling, with experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Qlik, Tableau, Power BI) and familiarity with cloud data services, data architecture concepts, and code optimization.
Strong understanding of data and analytics in complex business environments; experience in financial services is a plus.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and logical reasoning abilities.
Ability to work independently and thrive under pressure.
Proficiency in English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).
