With our mask writers, we contribute significantly to the global semiconductor industry and enable the production of state-of-the-art chips that are used in powerful cell phones, PCs and data centers.Data Analysis Engineer (m/f/d)You collect and analyse the tool log data from our multi-beam mask writers with focus on increasing the tool performance and uptime. Together with your team members you ensure the functionality, reliability and stability of our products.Your Responsibilities:

• Develop a deep understanding of the functionality of our Multi Beam Mask Writer and the existing tool log data
• Python script development to support the tool error analysis
• Complex tool error analysis by interpreting of the customer tool log data as part of task forces and continuous improvement programs
• Development of concepts for cross-tool log data analysis
• Definition and operate a database for cross-tool data analysis
• Deriving forecasts for tool performance from the tool log data
• Interface between the operation and R&D department for the definition of necessary tool data sets

Your Qualification:

• Degree (BSc or MSc) in physics, chemistry, IT or a related field
• Experience with Python libraries for data analysis such as numpy, scipy, pandas, matplotlib, plotly
• Experience in data analysis and creating databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, InfluxDB)
• Careful, detailed and structured work style with a “hands on” mentality
• Very good spoken and written English.
