As an Environmental and Energy Professional at Novo Nordisk, you will:

  • Support CVP and department managers on energy and environmental matters.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental legislation, ISO14001 (environmental management system) and ISO50001 (energy management system).
  • Be a front runner and set direction for environment and energy work, including supporting Environmental and Energy Professionals in M2.
  • Develop and follow up on environment targets.
  • Drive and support processes for identifying environmental and energy optimisation projects.
  • Conduct environmental mapping and collect, verify and report environmental data.
  • Plan, execute and follow up on audits.
  • Drive processes for environmental assessments of changes in projects, processes and installations.
  • Introduce new employees to external environment and energy.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:

  • Relevant technical or academic education.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in the relevant area.
  • Experience with management systems, e.g. ISO 14001 and 50001 systems.
  • Knowledge of Danish environmental legislation.
  • Experience in environmental work in production companies.

As a person, you should exhibit proactive behaviour, being goal and action-oriented, the ability to make an impact, be determined and strong-minded, good communication skills in both writing and verbal, an organizational, systematic, and quality mindset, strong planning skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate others to ensure the best environmental performance in M2.About the department
You will be part of the Business Support department, located at our site in Kalundborg. Our team is responsible for leading, managing and performing supporting operations of the organisation, ensuring standards of quality, cost, safety, reliability, timeliness and performance are met in production processes. We are a dynamic and collaborative team, committed to driving environmental sustainability and energy optimisation within Novo Nordisk.
