Dynacast Peterborough is dedicated to designing, building, manufacturing, and delivering quality die cast components. Below are additional details about what is offered at the Peterborough location:

• 40 multi-slide proprietary zinc die casting machines ranging from 12 to 21 tons
• Five multi-slide proprietary zinc die casting machines ranging from 70 to 200 tons
• Injected Metal Assembly (IMA) up to one ton
• Precision tool building with in-house capabilities
• Design, prototyping, and modeling services
• Wide range of finishing surfaces available including tumbling, polishing, shot blasting and thermal de-burring
• Cosmetic or protective coating equipment either through certified suppliers or in-house
• Wide range of secondary operations including CNC machining, tapping, reaming, and drilling

About the Role:The purpose of this role is to serve as our customers designated “Go To Person”, to enter and monitor production of customer orders and escalate the resolution of plant issues regarding quality and delivery problems to maintain Dynacast’s reputation in the marketplace.Note: This is a CONTRACT position for 3 months, with the possibility of an extension beyond that. Hours would be 32-40 per week.Key Duties & Responsibilities:· To serve as our customer’s single point contact in the event of a problem that is not resolved to their satisfaction;· To ensure customer orders meet minimum order quantity, minimum order value, pricing and current revision level;· To pro-actively escalate all serious or potentially serious issues related problems in an expeditious manner;· To liaise, coordinate, communicate and facilitate problem resolution with the necessary functions, to resolve customer issues and communicate production/shipment delays etc.;· To communicate production/shipment delays, tooling issues etc. to customers;· To adjust CUM’s & schedules per customer demands;· Follow the Dynacast Quality Policy & Procedures manuals in compliance with IATF requirements;· Develop meaningful relations with “key” customers, manufacturer representatives, and subcontractors;· Recommend production requirements to meet customer needs; and· To be familiar with all Dynacast Sales Policies.Experience:

• Customer service oriented, with above average verbal and written communication skills;
• Above average analytical and problem solving skills;
• A team player with above average organizational and conflict resolution skills;
• Sense of urgency required;
• Working knowledge of QAD or other MRP system (preferred) and Microsoft office products (Excel, Outlook);
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
