OUR TEAMOur Explosive Ordnance Services (EOS) team enables the Australian Defence Force through storage, distribution, maintenance and disposal of these systems, all across Australia. As a turnkey solution, we offer the opportunity to gain a holistic understanding of our business operations, creating huge opportunities for growth.Within our logistics services business there are 17+ depots throughout Australia, allowing various development and progression opportunities.YOUR ROLEWe are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Officer to join our Planning and Analysis Centre (PAC) team. This role is integral to supporting the national Explosive Ordnance (EO) network by providing high-level inventory management and logistics support.You will play a key role in optimising warehousing operations, addressing customer service needs, and ensuring the efficient flow of EO inventory across the network.Working from our Orchard Hills site, on Darug land, your role purpose is to –
- Assist in coordinating logistics and inventory activities, including resolving operational issues to meet business outcomes
- Monitor ADF and Depot operations, providing recommendations for corrective actions as needed
- Manage the EO inventory system (COMSARM) to ensure accurate tracking of storage, maintenance, and distribution
- Process data, create Excel worksheets, Pivot Tables, and graphs for analysis
- Generate COMSARM reports to support PAC analytics tasks
- Identify and resolve EO-related issues at both network and site levels through collaborative analysis
- Propose improved business processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction
YOUR EXPERIENCE
- Certificate IV in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
- Ability to analyse data from various sources with a strong drive for continuous improvement
- Current holder of an Australian Defence Security Clearance: Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) would be highly advantageous
