Job description: Your Impact on the Business The Credit, Market, and Liquidity Risk Manager is responsible for overseeing the identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting of PETNET Inc.’s credit, market, and liquidity risk exposures. The role supports PETNET’s mission of delivering secure and reliable remittance, foreign exchange, and cash management services by ensuring risk-taking activities remain within established risk appetite and regulatory guidelines. This position provides subject matter expertise on managing credit exposures across partners, sub-agents, monitors market risks arising from forex and price-sensitive operations, and safeguards adequate liquidity to meet customer pay-outs and operational funding. The role collaborates closely with Forex, Finance, Treasury, Compliance, Operations, and business units to embed sound risk practices across the organization, while maintaining compliance with BSP and other applicable regulations. Credit Risk Management Develop and maintain credit risk policies and frameworks Conduct credit risk assessments of partners, sub-agents, and counterparties Recommend and monitor credit limits Perform periodic reviews and stress testing of credit exposures Oversee the escalation and remediation of credit breaches Market Risk Management Identify, measure, and monitor market risks arising from PETNET’s forex and cash products Set up stress and back-testing methodologies Recommend hedging or other mitigation strategies Analyze market trends and their potential impacts on PETNET Prepare market risk exposure reports for management Liquidity Risk Management Develop and maintain liquidity risk frameworks and policies Monitor liquidity positions daily and ensure compliance with BSP and internal limits Perform regular liquidity stress tests Recommend funding strategies and ensure adequate cash buffer across branches and partners Escalate liquidity gaps and recommend corrective measures Risk Reporting and Governance Prepare timely risk reports for Senior Management and the Corporate Governance Committee (CGC). Track and report key risk indicators (KRIs) Ensure risk appetite statements are adhered to Maintain governance documentation and records Support audits and regulatory examinations Regulatory Compliance Monitor compliance with relevant BSP regulations Coordinate regulatory submissions related to risk Proactively identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions Support periodic regulatory risk reviews Stakeholder Collaboration Provide risk advisory support to business units, Forex, Finance, Treasury, and Compliance. Support new product or service risk assessments Deliver risk awareness trainings and capacity-building activities Strengthen partnerships with business units to build a risk-aware culture Business Continuity Support Identify risks that may impact liquidity and market activities during disruption events. Contribute to scenario planning and stress testing design Coordinate with BCM and Treasury for emergency funding and liquidity strategies Integrate risk controls with PETNET’s Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery frameworks Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; Certification: Professional Certification (FRM, PRM, CFA, or equivalent) preferred but not required; Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant financial risk management experience in banking and financial services, preferably in remittance, foreign exchange, or branch/cash operations; Skills: Strong knowledge of BSP regulatory frameworks Proficiency in risk monitoring tools and models Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Working Setup: Hybrid, at least 5 times a month in the HQ located in Legaspi Village, Makati; and Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 44 hours weekly. Expected salary: 60000 – 70000 per month
