Job description: Our client is an industry leading Alternative Lender who are looking to hire a Credit Analyst to join their team in Dublin. The successful candidate will play a key role in assessing credit worthiness of commercial real estate loan applicants and supporting the decision-making process for loan approvals.Responsibilities of this Credit Analyst Role:

• Analyse financial statements, income statements, balance sheets and other financial documents of commercial real estate borrowers to assess their credit worthiness

• Build and maintain detailed financial models to project cash flows, rental income, operating expenses and loan repayments

• Identify and quantify risks associated with the commercial real estate transactions, including market trends, regulatory changes and property-specific factors

• Prepare detailed credit analysis reports, including financial assessments, risk evaluations, and recommendations for credit approval or denial

• Participate in client meetings and negotiations as necessary to support the credit process

Requirements of this Credit Analyst Role:

• Business, Law or Finance degree

• Interest and understanding of the property industry

• Good communication skills

• Experience with financial modelling

• Understanding of debt advisory, security-based lending and cashflows
