Job PurposeYou will be accountable for analyzing credit submissions while exercising good judgment and providing approvals for qualified loans within assigned lending limits. Assists with developing and delivering the automotive loan training process, including system training. Also acts as a primary resource to sales personnel for credit policies and procedures.Accountabilities

  • Provides timely and accurate adjudication of automotive financing applications as detailed in the SLA.
  • Effectively communicates credit decisions to applicable staff and dealerships clearly and concisely.
  • Performed under established procedures, work is reviewed regularly for accuracy and completion, including escalations of exceptions to Senior Credit Analyst or above.
  • Required to plan work to meet deadlines and unexpected situations. Works under the guidance of the Senior Credit Analyst or above.
  • Results achieved are internally focused and indirectly affect a unit of a Department. The external focus would be on others and would be strictly informational in nature.

Skills and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma plus completion of a Certificate Program (equivalent to one full year or 10 courses).
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in credit analysis for automotive financing (mandatory)
  • Expert understanding of the loan origination system.
  • Proficient knowledge of PCs, including sound working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Working knowledge of presentation equipment and software.
  • Expert understanding of Compass Application System
  • Advanced knowledge of risk management as it relates to credit underwriting.
