To support CCD, DWS is searching for a Content Manager / Content Writer for its RFP Team. Theposition will be based in India.Position Description: Content Manager / Content WriterAs a member of the RFP Team, this position will be responsible for overseeing the development and ongoing maintenance of content used to populate responses for DWS Proposals (i.e. RFP / RFI). Your key responsibilities
- Oversee development and maintenance of content used in preparing proposals (i.e. RFP/RFI/DDQs), or other documents for institutional and retail, clients on products and services marketed by DWS
- Ensure that the content database (RocketDocs) is well‐organized, current, and compliant.
- Work with Investment Specialists, Portfolio Management, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, etc. to proactively research content changes.
- Enhance existing content structure and review processes
- Populate content database (RocketDocs) with approved and accurate questions and responses.
- Clarify specific RFP questions or responses as an expert content writer to ensure overall compliance, evaluation integrity and market position.
- Provide broader team direction on where to get information for specific content.
- Perform Quality checks on RFPs. Ensure message sent out is consistent across the different RFP Writers / Specialists.
In addition:
- Develop and facilitate strong relationships with Content contributors, RFP Team and Client Coverage Division
- Conduct content database RFP content verification with respective SMEs and ensure content is compliant
- Monitor and implement quality control standards for content, grammar, style and formatting
- Liaise with Marketing and consult with RFP Team to ensure database responses meet strategic and stylistic standards, in accordance with industry best practices and DWS corporate guidelines.
- Ensure that the RFP content is consistent with other marketing materials and that all regulatory, legal and compliance standards are adhered to – including regulatory exam review items.
- Provide support as a systems administrator for RocketDocs users
- Work with IT as needed to resolve internal system issues, upgrades, testing, additions/enhancements to the database, etc…
- Can we add a bullet for Updating Product Standard DDQ’s on a semi-annual basis
Your skills and experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong work ethic, commitment to excel and proven capacity to work effectively with minimum supervision and under tight deadlines in a fast‐paced, unstructured environment
- Strong English writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Ability to
- Create new content with limited written information and/or by interviewing subject matter experts.
- Provide editorial support for newly created content and update content to implement the most impactful messaging.
- Write accurately in English about a topic or concept immediately after introduction.
Experience
- 3‐5 years of experience, writing, answering and editing content used in RFPs or Consultant Databases within AM industry; or
- 10 years of experience in Financial Services
Education/Qualification Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, Journalism, Technical Writing, Law, or a related field
- CFA Level I desirable, but not required
