Job description: Job Description for – Costing FunctionMission of the JobCalculate and update with the best accuracy, the cost of components, sub assemblies and products for new projectsProvide productivity target through products value analysis
Key ObjectivesCalculate the detailed cost of a new product as per Schneider Electric MethodologyMake sure that cost evaluation of a new product is shared and accepted by the manufacturing plantfollow up and update costs during project stage gatesAlerts in case of deviationTrack potential savings through product cost analysisCompares different techno-industrial solutions and fin out the best through ROI calculationCollect data from all Schneider electric sources ( Purchase, Finances, Mfg. Plants, Logistics, etc ) including France and other countries and consolidate them.Brings challenges for cost reduction by fixing aggressive but achievable targetsUses all SE Cost database ( Scala, Bridge, etc )Generate, update and organize a cost databasePerform value analysis on existing products and set targets to achieve productivityEstimates cost for parts of products localization of rebalancingIf needed calculates products marginIf needed calculates products localization rateExecute Design to Cost level 1 in Projects.Complete teardown for Schneider and Competitor productsCosting of all components (Plastics, Metals & PCBA
QualificationsGraduate with Finance as Primary Subject & Advance Financial course, Costing experience.12-15 yrs Experience in Costing, AccountingFinancial proficencySchedule: Full-time
