  • To deliver cost and commercial management and contract administration services, including Data Centre and Energy Centre developments and other asset classes as required
  • To be responsible for delivering the scope of work in line with established controls, and demonstrate technical knowledge and experience aligned to your level.
  • Working as part of a team in the Cost & Commercial Management Career family to manage and deliver projects
  • Liaising with external contractors and consultants
  • Reporting to clients and stakeholders

Role accountabilities:

  • Work within established financial systems and budgets to produce reports and forecasts and track budgets, oversee costing and variances to manage and control cost variables
  • Support a team to deliver a variety of cost projects and assignments or significant components of larger assignments, managing your time proactively to deliver the required scope of work within set deadlines
  • Provide advice and information to colleagues on risk management, compliance and associated behaviours, to ensure adherence to Arcadis’ risk and compliance processes
  • Take into account project risks or issues with managers / senior managers to ensure the project is not adversely impacted
  • Analyse and review a range of data and documents to collate key themes and trends, using this analysis in conjunction with own knowledge to provide advice and make recommendations to support cost and commercial management decision-making
  • Use your own knowledge and experience, combined with research of industry best practice, to analyse existing processes and policies
  • Share knowledge and provide insightful recommendations to assist service improvement and innovation
  • Interact effectively and proactively across the organisation, seeking to develop ways to support collaboration with the cost management function, and applying technical knowledge to ensure projects/programmes can be delivered to meet cost expectations

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Possess the skills and experience to actively support the internal team on technically complex projects/programme of works typically ranging between €5m to €50m
  • Evidence of effectively applying CCM knowkedge to successfully meet client objectives and deliver a positive of client experience
  • Evidence of effective communication and problem solving skills in the CCM environment
  • Perferable Data Centre Cost and Commercial Management experience, with MEPH QS knowledge
  • Experience of working with external stakeholders to build client relationships
  • Experience of supporting a project from inception to completion
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline
  • Relevant professional qualification or chartered status / or progressing APC
  • Safe Pass card holder
