With 18,000+ employees across 62 countries, we specialise in sustainable, efficient solutions that optimise production and reduce environmental impact.At our office in Søborg, Denmark, you will join our Calculation team, who builds complex cost calculation for drying and powder plants all over the world, collaborating with many stakeholders in the process. The team consists of 3 colleagues with diverse backgrounds, and we have an informal environment, where we collaborate closely on servicing more than 50 stakeholders.Responsibilities / TasksAs our new Cost Calculation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our business. Here, you will be responsible for detailed cost estimations and collaborating with various stakeholders across the organisation.
More specifically, you will:

• Perform detailed cost calculations for process equipment using cost calculation tools and cost databases
• Analyse documentation sets, including drawings, to estimate costs accurately
• Provide input and support for standardisation and modularisation efforts to enhance efficiency
• Utilise Product Configuration Systems to integrate product cost data and streamline processes
• Collaborate with CoC on preparation tasks and cost breakdown analysis of process equipment
• Develop scalable product cost structures in collaboration with Product Data Management systems

Your Profile / QualificationsWith your proactive approach to stakeholder management, you ensure both an engaging and effective collaboration. And your analytical mindset is crucial for identifying cost drivers, delivering accurate estimations, and optimizing cost structures. Also, your ability to combine technical expertise with strategic thinking will ensure efficiency and optimization.
Furthermore, we imagine that you bring:

• Proven expertise in cost calculation, including hands-on experience with tools, databases, and estimation based on relevant documentation
• Experience with Product Configuration Systems and their integration with cost structures, as well as cost-out engineering practices to drive cost reductions
• Background in production preparation, cost breakdown of complex process equipment, and familiarity with norms and harmonized standards
• Proficiency in CAD software, Product Configuration tools, and data analysis platforms like Power BI.
• Preferably an MSc or BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Dairy Engineering, Chemical Engineering
