Job description: Job DetailsMowlam Healthcare, based in Limerick City, is the largest private nursing home operator in Ireland and one of the largest indigenous corporates in the Midwest.Mowlam Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Corporate Finance Specialist to join our high performing finance team. This role is critical in supporting the company’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling capabilities, analytical skills, and M&A experience.You will report directly to our Head of Digital Transformation & FP&A and our Director of Finance. You will also present to the Senior Executive Management Team and the Board of Directors.Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full responsibility for the annual budgeting process including preparing detailed annual budgets, rolling reforecast models and scenario analysis interacting with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Build detailed financial models to support due diligence and investment thesis development as part of evaluation of M&A opportunities.
  • Ability to analyze financial results, KPIs, and variance reports to provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Lead financial due diligence for potential acquisitions and expansion initiatives.
  • Review of transactional legal documentation and bank facilities agreements
  • Prepare bank funding submissions and covenant compliance reports
  • Prepare reports and presentations for Executive team and Board of Directors.
  • Input into our ongoing systems development, integration and roll out of AI
  • Provide financial and commercial decision-making support across the business as and when required.
  • Ad hoc projects

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Accountant
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in Corporate Finance role
  • Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic planning
  • M&A experience on both buy and sell side
  • Experience of reviewing legal documentation and facility agreements.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of Netsuite & NSPB would be an advantage
  • Experience of Power BI
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, FRS102, and key financial metrics
