The incumbent will work closely with the Head of Corporate Client Serving to ensure alignment of operational improvements across functions, optimizing workflows, and enhancing stakeholder engagement to support business objectives.Responsibilities:Strategic Business Solutions & Operational Efficiency

  • Support the Head of Corporate Client Servicing in overseeing team operations by driving efficiency, scalability, and alignment with overall business objectives
  • Lead initiatives to streamline workflows, enhance service capabilities, and improve operational efficiency within the Corporate Client Servicing function
  • Identify opportunities to streamline operations, enhance productivity, and drive continuous improvements across key business functions
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across Strategy, Partnership Distribution, Governance, Marketing etc. teams to support the development and execution of strategic initiatives that drive long-term business growth
  • Assist in reviewing and improving service delivery processes and operational workflows to enhance efficiency and customer experience
  • Ensure seamless execution of key projects by supporting prioritization, tracking progress, and identifying potential challenges
  • Establish performance metrics and tracking mechanisms to assess the success of operational enhancements and transformation efforts

Process Improvement and Offshore Team Collaboration

  • Manage special projects outside the team’s current capacity, ensuring effective execution, clear deliverables, and measurable business impact
  • Assist in the implementation of operational improvements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs
  • Enhance collaboration with offshore teams in China and Malaysia, improving execution quality, operational efficiencies, and overall working relationships
  • Provide problem-solving efforts for operational challenges, identifying and assisting in implementing process refinements and efficiency enhancements
  • Act as an ambassador for the team, fostering cross-functional collaboration, ensuring strategic alignment across business units, and strengthening the team’s presence within AIA

Requirements:

  • University graduate, preferably major in business related subject or equivalent
  • 12+ years of solid experience, including at least 5 years of managerial experience with a focus on business strategy, operations, and/or transformation in financial services
  • Consulting background with experience in transformation projects preferred, particularly within the insurance industry
  • Strong business knowledge in the insurance industry, with knowledge in the corporate servicing and pension business as an added advantage
  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, including C-level executives, through strong relationship management, communication and strategic advisory skills
  • Proven ability to identify innovation opportunities, define and deliver innovative solutions
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Experience in driving projects by providing a clear project framework, clarity on content and deliverables, and effective stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; fluency in English is required, while proficiency in Chinese is an asset
  • Open-minded, with the ability to consider different stakeholder views and make customer-centric decisions that create win-win solutions for all involved
