Why is this role important?Reporting to the Team Lead, the Coordinator is responsible for supporting stakeholders in the home care, long-term care, mental health and rehabilitation sectors. Working with an interdisciplinary team, the Coordinator will provide client support related to multiple CIHI reporting systems and standards. Additional key responsibilities include coordinating external meetings, developing process documentation and contributing to quality assurance activities. The Coordinator will also contribute to the development of internal and external information products.What you’ll do1. Acts as a first point of contact for external clients for the reporting systems and standards supported in the Specialized Care branch. Provides direct client support and coordinates queries with subject matter experts within the interdisciplinary team.2. Contributes to the development and improvement of client support and other operational processes. Develops and maintains standard operating procedures.3. Contributes to various activities to provide support to the Specialized Care branch such as developing resources for planning and monitoring purposes, and supports clinical and analytical deliverables while working in a matrix environment.4. Supports activities related to maintaining and updating the reporting systems and standards within the Specialized Care branch, including the review and revision of system specifications, coordination with Information Technology Services and user acceptance testing.5. Conducts quality assurance checks and coordinates the dissemination of products and information to internal and external clients.6. Supports and participates in external meetings, which includes scheduling, developing and maintaining stakeholder lists, preparation of materials and web conference support. Contributes to meeting minutes and presentations as required.7. Provides back-up support as required on other coordination functions.What you’ll bring to the table
- University degree/college diploma in Health, Business or Information Technology related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two to three years of experience in client service in an information management environment or related area.
- Excellent MS Excel skills. Proficiency in other MS Office software (Word, Outlook and PowerPoint). Experience with MS Visio, MS Teams, Adobe Connect, SharePoint and/or client relationship management systems is an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to emerging priorities.
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in identifying, establishing and/or improving standard operating processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Experience with longitudinal databases and system testing is an asset.
