• About the Opportunity
• Preparing monthly financial statements including detailed variance and projection analysis, annual property and tenant audited statements, and government reporting and remittances.
• Managing a team to ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end general ledger close for portfolio of assigned properties
• Manage A/P Staff and ensure accurate recording of all invoices.
• Responsible for HST on residential rental properties vs. development properties.
• Assisting with the financial planning and analysis teams helping with annual forecasts
• Preparing and coordinating year-end audit files and financial statements for external audit and legal entity tax filings

About You

• University degree with a CPA (CA/CMA/CGA) designation required
• Have a minimum of 4 years management experience
• Experience in Real Estate environment is mandatory.
• Experience with Yardi is required.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
