Job description: About the Client Our client is looking for a controller on a contractual basis.About the Opportunity

• Maintain accurate accounting records in Great Plains
• Prepare financial statements
• Manage related party transactions and monthly billing
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing
• Review and approve expenses for policy compliance
• Coordinate the annual external audit
• Implement internal controls to protect company assets and ensure compliance
• Assist GM (Canada) and VP Finance (USA) with ad hoc duties as required
• Assist with tax returns and regulatory filings

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• CPA designation preferred
• 8+ years of accounting experience, including management/supervisory roles
• Proficiency in Great Plains, Concur, Microsoft Access, and Excel
• Knowledge of IFRS and tax regulations
