Job description: The Role: This position is predominantly managing projects across a variety of civil developments from subdivision through to roading and more.In this rewarding role you will be involved in a variety of business activities including:
- Contracts management
- Staff management, including recruitment and professional development and performance management
- Financial management and performance, including reporting
- Quality, health and safety
- Pre and post award project planning and programming
- Tender input, including estimation and methodology writing
- Client / Stakeholder relations
About You: To be suitable for this position, you will need to have proven experience delivering successful similar projects in New Zealand. You will also need to have:
- Relevant industry qualification such as Civil Engineering however Practical Industry experience is preffered
- At least 5 years experience across residential / commercial civil construction preffered
- Strong financial management and programme management skills
- Ability to management multiple project concurrent
- Current clean Class 1 license
- Willing to complete drug, alcohol and criminal checks
- Up-to-date with current health and safety legislation and contract law
