Job description: Contracts Management Professional -2Location: Orlando, FLThis is a HYBRID position which requires you to work in the office 3 days per week.ONLY LOCAL CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED.Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Contract and Legal Advisor to join their team. This role will require you to work closely with interdisciplinary teams to analyze and respond to customer contract terms, identify contractual risks, and ensure compliance with evolving market conditions. You will play a key role in managing risks, mitigating potential issues, and advising management on contractual matters. Additionally, you will collaborate with colleagues in legal and compliance teams, driving internal process improvements and supporting innovative technologies.Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a trusted advisor in handling legal matters related to commercial and contract law, including areas such as intellectual property, product liability, procurement, corporate law, and claims management.
• Analyze, draft, and negotiate complex contracts, particularly in the sale of goods, services, software, and digital solutions within the Energy sector.
• Identify potential legal and contractual risks and provide strategic guidance on mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with business partners to address and resolve customer contract terms while balancing governance and business needs.
• Work with legal and compliance colleagues to ensure that company standards are in line with current market trends and the evolving legal landscape.
• Support innovation teams in the commercialization of new technologies.
• Contribute to the optimization of internal processes and risk evaluation to ensure operational efficiency and lean practices.
• Provide training and guidance to key stakeholders on legal matters, processes, and risk management.
• Foster a culture of ownership, empowerment, transparency, and inclusivity within the team and across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field relevant to Siemens Energy’s core offerings; J.D. is preferred but not required.
• 3 – 5 years of experience in contract management or corporate legal teams, ideally within the Energy industry or a related technology field. Advanced degrees may be considered in lieu of years of experience.
• Proven success in managing complex contracts specific to the Energy sector, including the sale of parts, goods, software, and services.
• Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to lead or support negotiations across diverse teams, including Legal, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Proposals, and Project Implementation.
• Self-driven, resourceful, and able to work independently or within teams.
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements, schedules, and priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely engage with stakeholders at all levels.
