Job description: CBGU JV brings together partners CPB Contractors, BAM, Ghella and UGL to deliver the Tunnels and Stations package for Brisbane’s Cross River Rail. Cross River Rail is a 10.2 kilometre rail line between Dutton Park and Bowen Hills, including 5.9 kilometres of tunnel under the Brisbane River and CBD. The project also includes construction of four new high-capacity underground stations at Boggo Road, Woolloongabba, Albert Street and Roma Street station.One project team, building career opportunities for you.Sitting within the station delivery team, you will be responsible for the following:

Preparation and issuance of tender packages
Negotiation and preparation of contracts for award
Evaluation of variation claims and issuing assessments for review and approval by management
Management of subcontractor payment claims
Preparation and issuance of contract correspondence to Contractors

Minimum requirements for this role include the following:

Experience in the procurement and management of subcontract packages for large-scale projects
Effective contract negotiation skills and ability to assess large complex claims and variations
Robust understanding of relevant legislation and ability to interpret and apply contracts
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management or relevant
