Job description: Join our dynamic team at TXMR SDN BHD a provider of custom automation engineering solutions. We specialize in helping manufacturers and business owners automate their processes to enhance efficiency and productivity. We are looking for a Procurement Assistant in our engineering department; Job Responsibilities Gain practical experience in procurement and planning methodologies. Assist in vendor selection and negotiation Coordinate with vendors to quotes, negotiate contracts, manage relationships, track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and payment terms. Engage in continuous learning opportunities to enhance procurement and project planning skills. Create and manage Purchase Request Forms (PRFs), requests for quotations, handle and manage stock and inventory record Monitor any adjustments to the equipment needed to maintain an optimum supply of equipment to complete projects on time and within budget. Collaborate with other department to determine the equipment needed to complete manufacturing projects and ensure purchased items meet project specifications through thorough studies. Verify Delivery Orders (DO) and process Goods Received Acknowledgement (GRA) Forms and other forms during the process. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and contracts. Prepare analysis in budgeting and any other engineering requirements when assigned. Generate reports on procurement status, budget utilization and vendor performance. Any other duties as and when assigned Requirements: Candidate must possess a Bachelor/Diploma/ Advanced/ Certificate/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering/Mechanical/Admin or equivalent Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Words, Google Drive Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Detail oriented with good organizational skills. Knowledge in materials, equipment and market trends in production/manufacturing industry/Procurement or Supply Chain Management is an added advantage. Fresh graduate are encouraged to apply. Strong problem-solving and communication skills in English & Malay Languages. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
