Over the past few years, the technology landscape has shifted and continues to do so in the shape of Cloud/SaaS/PaaS/IaaS technologies, and as Oracle’s only Global Cloud Elite partner, Deloitte are well prepared to deliver Oracle Cloud technology and implementations.Job DescriptionYour typical day will include:Under general supervision, the Senior Reports developer will provide technical and functional skills needed for developing/debugging/supporting Fusion reports including BI Publisher, OTBI, BICC, FRS, FDI, OAC. The primarily responsibility of this role is full life cycle reporting, from requirements gathering, development, maintenance through end-user training on the tools to deliver the reports. Serves as a subject matter expert on a team of developers championing a standard reporting delivery model encompassing development, documentation, and training requirements.Duties and Responsibilities:Your role as an Oracle Fusion Cloud Senior Reports Developer will focus on utilising your skills and experience in Oracle ERP Cloud with clients from various industries and sizes nationwide. In general, you will be expected to:Essential Functions:

  • Develops Custom BIP reports using different template based on business requirements – RTF, eText, Excel, etc.
  • Knowledge in development and support of SQL queries for report requirements.
  • Good understanding of Fusion schema, subject areas, and expertise in creating reports joining multiple subject areas using OTBI.
  • In depth understanding of Oracle BICC and FRS tools
  • Developing solutions using FDI.
  • Monitor the health of FDI application and cloud services.
  • Assisting with provisioning FDI, verifying FDI prerequisites, configuring and activating pipeline data loads, and performing FDI data validation.
  • Responsible for development and ongoing management of functional reporting to support the full Oracle Fusion Cloud stack.
  • Serves as a key resource responsible for working with functional users to deliver timely and accurate information.
  • Responsible for determining whether report requests are justified and if not, working with requesters to find alternate reporting solutions in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Responsible for education and training of team members and functional end users on Oracle Fusion reporting tools as needed.
  • Proven background with systems support providing direct contact with users to resolve issues with the reporting solution.
  • Partners with cross functional users to ensure reporting needs are being met, while ensuring the efficiency of the change management process and the applications themselves.
  • Applies expertise and core competencies gathered from projects and functional experience to solve reporting problems through error detection and correction, process improvements and/or process design strategies.
  • Solid documentation and organization skills – ability to take complex requirements and efficiently summarize them into actionable items.

QualificationsYou would also be expected to:

  • Work within project teams to understand future data, analytics, and reporting requirements.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.

  • Extensive experience as an Oracle ERP Cloud Reports developer or skills in a similar ERP with hands on configuration skills.
  • Delivered at least 1 full cycle Fusion Cloud implementations with experience in building reporting solution using BI, OTBI, FRS, BICC and FDI.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP implementations or Oracle Cloud certifications would be highly beneficial.
  • Previous experience in a consulting environment is a distinct advantage.
  • High level of knowledge of the best practices in reporting field within your business domain area and a willingness to own change management issues.
  • Good communications skills in the English language (close to native level) is a must, both written and spoken, as is the ability to engage a range of users.
