Delivering incisive interpretation of complex economic issues has made us a global leader in this field. Our team includes economists, accountants, valuation professionals, MBAs and econometricians.Our economists, accountants and finance experts draw on a diverse set of skills to answer a wide range of economic and financial questions, often in the context of legal disputes.We work on varied and challenging assignments across a wide spectrum of industries. We work with international law firms, global conglomerates and FTSE 100 companies, governments and regulators.We have significant expertise in the valuation of businesses, intellectual property, financial products, and other assets. We are the leading firm in the provision of expert evidence on valuation issues and the quantification of economic losses before courts and tribunals all around the world. We also provide valuation services for commercial, reporting, and regulatory purposes, for example, in the context of licensing, investment appraisal, fiscal valuation, and transfer pricing.Examples of some of our recent projects include:
- Valuation of an online food delivery service in China:
Pursuant to the approval of an acquisition of a food delivery company, the minority shareholder of said food delivery company dissented and engaged us to value its minority interest in the company.
- Valuation of one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges:
We were engaged by an individual to value his minority interest in a crypto exchange for use in the arbitration proceedings between said individual and the crypto exchange. Our work included considering the value of the exchange itself, the crypto tokens held by the exchange, and other non-core assets.
- Quantifying losses arising from the alleged breaches of agreements in the pharmaceutical industry:
We were engaged by a pharmaceutical company to assess the impact on its future revenues and profits of a novel drug substance following the alleged breach in contract by one of its distributors.What You’ll DoAs a Consultant/Senior Consultant you will have the opportunity to apply your intellect and skills to a diverse range of economic, valuation and business issues. You will play a key role in our projects, working in small teams to carry out industry, market, and quantitative analysis, and to report our findings in a clear, concise, and structured way.More specifically the role will involve:
- Identifying relevant project material and deliver key supporting research
- Analysing large volumes of data and perform statistical analysis
- Designing complex models with limited guidance
- Preparing reports, written analyses, presentations, quantitative exhibits, and other client deliverables
- Designing and build valuation models and perform financial analysis
- Investigating and critique assertions, analyses, and work product of other experts
- Assisting in business development activities in Asia-Pacific

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- 3-6 years of post-graduation work experience in a relevant/ related field
- ACA, CFA, or other relevant qualification in finance or economics is a plus but not required
- Excellent modelling financial skills and experience in implementing valuation frameworks
- Experience in database systems and financial data providers (e.g. Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters (LSEG))
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office (Excel/VBA, Word and PowerPoint)
- Professional working proficiency in Mandarin is a plus
- Ability to travel when requested
