Job description: About the Client
Our client is sourcing for a Consultant, Private Market Operations for a 9-month contract.About the Opportunity
Data Oversight: Gather and maintain key investment-related data from both internal teams and third-party sources, ensuring it meets evolving monitoring requirements
Analysis & Validation: Review and interpret data sets and reports for consistency and reliability; assist in diagnosing underlying issues through collaboration with other teams
Information Management: Act as a central point for the collection and distribution of information to support decision-making across investment teams
Process Design: Help shape new operational models and define responsibilities as part of the evolving portfolio oversight structure
Industry Insight: Apply your knowledge of real estate financial operations; familiarity with credit-focused investments is a plus
Support Activities: Take on various responsibilities as needed to support the broader goals of the team
About You
Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a closely related area
Professional Credentials: CPA is an asset
Experience: At least five years working in investment operations or finance roles
Subject Matter Expertise: Hands-on experience with portfolio oversight and a good grasp of private market valuation methods, particularly in alternative assets like real estate or private credit
Work Ethic & Delivery: Able to handle pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple requests without compromising quality
Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with a clear, effective communication style — both written and verbal
Attention to Detail: Precision and accuracy are non-negotiable in this role
Technical Projects: Familiarity with implementing or working alongside investment tech platforms is a plus
