The consultant will be responsible for delivering technology-driven solutions, ensuring compliance with global standards, and collaborating with stakeholders across product, sales, and technology teams.What Are the Key Responsibilities?– Lead implementation of strategies for payment and receivables transformation
– Manage large-scale digital initiatives including payment engine rollouts and ISO 20022 adoption
– Collaborate with internal teams (FX, cash, sales) to commercialize payment products
– Ensure new payment solutions comply with regulatory and industry connectivity standards
– Oversee payment hub implementation, integration, and system upgrades
– Conduct sessions to guide clients on ISO 20022 and support client adoption initiatives
– Identify best practices and internal opportunities for process optimization
– Support the strategic direction of global transaction banking initiativesWhat Skills Are Needed for This Payments Consultant Role in Abu Dhabi?Education:
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Technology, or a related field
– Certifications in business analytics, securities & investments are a plusExperience:
– 8-10 years in banking and financial services with specialization in payments, cash management, and treasury
– Proven experience with ISO 20022 (MT/MX messaging), CBPR+ migration, and corporate banking workflows
– Strong background in product and project delivery for payment transformation initiativesTechnical & Domain Knowledge:
– Familiarity with corporate banking platforms and client implementation processes
– Experience with SWIFT standards and payment engine platforms
– Understanding of regulatory compliance related to paymentsSoft Skills:
