Job description: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water transmission systems, civil engineering, and project leadership, with a solid understanding of local regulations and international best practices.Key Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day construction activities of pipeline and reservoir works, ensuring alignment with project specifications, timelines, and budgets.Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams to ensure efficient execution of works.Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Director, including risk assessments and mitigation plans.Ensure that all construction activities comply with HSE standards, quality assurance procedures, and regulatory requirements.Liaise with design engineers, consultants, and government authorities to resolve technical issues and obtain necessary permits.Review and validate construction drawings, method statements, and work schedules.Coordinate material procurement, resource allocation, and equipment usage.Conduct site inspections, QA/QC reviews, and implement corrective actions when needed.Support project handover processes including commissioning and documentation.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).Minimum 10 years of experience in infrastructure construction, with at least 5 years in pipeline and reservoir projects.Proven track record in managing large-scale infrastructure works in the Middle East (experience in Oman preferred).In-depth knowledge of water infrastructure, hydraulic structures, HDPE/Ductile Iron pipelines, concrete reservoirs, and associated civil works.SKC Management is recruiting from India for this position and prefers Indian candidates to apply for this role.
