This role is an extension of the Concierge team, working alongside them to deliver exceptional customer experience in centre. This role will be based in the Visitor Lounge, to directly support its operation, services, and importantly assisting the centre manage tourism relationships, both directly in the lounge, locally on the Gold Coast, and key tourism partnerships.This role is based at Pacific Fair Shopping Centre and the roster is Monday to Friday 9:30 – 16:30.This position is paid in accordance with the General Retail Industry Award 2020, Grade 6.Role Requirements:
- Well-developed communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proactive and positive communication
- Excellent presentation skills both visually and personally
- Well spoken and strong command of English. Additional language advantageous
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Understanding of sales conversations and relationship outreach
- Ability to deal with difficult situations in a diplomatic manner
- Ability to work with international and local customers
- Understanding of tourism landscape
- Reporting to the business on the performance of the Visitor Lounge
- Identifies opportunities to improve processes
- Understands the vision of the asset
Education/Certification:
- Experience in sales, customer service or tourism industry
- Computer skills: particularly knowledge of Microsoft word, excel and outlook, with effective management of multiple Outlook calendars and inboxes
- Formal qualification not required for this role, but advantageous
Required Knowledge:
- Basic computer skills in: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and Microsoft Outlook.
- Computer skills for internal systems including gift cards
- Knowledge of Centre’s policies and procedures
- Understanding of tourism and customer service initiatives
