Job description: Senior Analyst – FCC Policy GovernanceHybrid working modelPermanent roleSupportive, fun and collaborative team with development opportunitiesThe Financial Crime Compliance team is accountable for the development, implementation and ongoing leadership of the group’s financial crime compliance services. You will be part of the wider Financial Crime team.Reporting to the Senior Manager Policy Governance, Financial Crime Compliance (FCC), you will play an important role in ensuring we have the right policy documentation and governance processes in place to support the Group with their financial crime obligations.As the FCC Policy Governance Senior Analyst, you will work to improve the quality, management and governance of Financial Crime Compliance policies and supporting documents and resources so that they are fit for purpose and driving our purpose of improving the financial wellbeing of our customers and communities.On any given day, you willDraft and cyclical review of existing Policy Documents or drafting and development of new Policy Documents to reflect changes in compliance obligations (legislative changes, regulator expectations) and/or business strategy;Support the various stages of the policy development and review process, in particular facilitating the key governance forums in the policy feedback and review process, including preparing Policy Documents for endorsement and approval at various governance stage gates (Policy Working Group through to CBA Board, depending on Policy Document)Develop and maintain a register of policy exemptions/exclusions and support FCC SMEs and Business Units/Support Units (BUs/SUs);Manage a repository and archive of FCC Policy Documents and Resources on Policy.cba and local SharePoint respectively;Work with FCC Advisory colleagues and stakeholders across the Group to support the effective implementation and embedment of Policy Documents and Resources in BU/SUs across the Group;We’re interested in hearing from people who have:Coordinated and driven policy, governance, compliance and/or process improvementsExperience in interpreting legislation, policy and/or compliance documentationKnowledge of governance, compliance and risk management processesExperience with preparation of reporting and delivering key insightsLegal qualifications (preferred)If you are an experienced professional with a desire to take on complex work and projects, we would love to hear from you!If you’re already part of the Commonwealth Bank Group (including Bankwest, x15ventures), you’ll need to apply through to submit a valid application.
