It involves operational leadership, responsibilities for people and performance, and a collaborative approach to working.The Team Lead will hold an operational role in the team, deliver operational work and have responsibility for work programme(s) relevant to their professional skill set (depending on the size of the team they are responsible for).About the Team/Service/ LocationThe National Public Health Service (NPHS) within Health New Zealand – Te Whatu Ora, work towards Pae Ora (healthy futures) for all by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people’s health, focusing on oranga/wellbeing, prevention, protection, and population-level intervention. We are connected across boundaries to deliver public health services that are nationally planned, regionally delivered and locally tailored.This position is based in Hamilton/ Kirikiriroa.About youYou will either:(i) Hold an existing operational role in our Compliance and Health Protection team, or(ii) Meet the eligibility requirements of the following position that is being recruited:In addition, you are an experienced leader able to nurture and develop a team to make them feel valued.
