What’s on offer?We are looking to appoint a Community & Stakeholder Manager to join our Newcastle Inner City Bypass Project Team. Working closely with Transport for NSW this project comprises of 3.4kms of four-lane divided road with interchanges at Newcastle Road, Lookout Road and the John Hunter Hospital precinct. Upgrades to existing connecting roads, pedestrian bridge and underpass are included in the scope of works to complete. This $450 million project will provide essential infrastructure to the Newcastle community.As a Community & Stakeholder Manager you will proactively engage and build relationships with our community, stakeholders and organisations. You will manage all aspects of community engagement for the project ensuring it’s in alignment with the strategic and operation direction of the project. Day to day you will:
How you’ll connect to the roleAs a Community Relations Manager you will have a relevant qualification and experience in a communications, stakeholder management or community liaison role. You will have a solid understanding and commitment to principles of equality, diversity, continuous improvement. You will have experience in meeting contractual obligations as well as organisational and legislative requirements.
