Job description: About the RoleVentia is seeking a passionate and experienced Community and Stakeholder Engagement Manager to support a regional contaminated site remediation project. This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive community engagement strategy, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring transparent, timely communication with the public and regulatory bodies.You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to proactively manage community enquiries, minimise project impacts, and represent the project at public forums and community meetings.This is a DIDO opportunity based in Portland, Ventia will provide accommodation, food allowances and rental car/ travel reimbursement.What’s on Offer· A meaningful role contributing to environmental remediation and community wellbeing.· Opportunity to work with a collaborative and supportive team.· Competitive salary and benefits.· A chance to make a real impact in the Portland community.About YouYou are a confident communicator and relationship builder with a strong background in stakeholder engagement. You bring:· A degree in Communications or a related field.· At least 5 years’ experience in stakeholder engagement.· IAP2 Certificate in Public Participation (preferred).· Strong skills in communication, data analysis, and change management.· A proactive, community-focused mindset and the ability to manage sensitive issues with professionalism.About VentiaVentia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.
