Job description: Transaction Services (TS) is one of ING Wholesale Banking’s (WB) main business lines. We offer a suite of WB products and services to corporate and institutional clients. TS is a significant contributor to the growth and profitability of WB. Our strategy is aimed at ensuring that we continue to support sustained growth for the WB by delivering competitive and relevant TS products.The Commercial Product Manager is responsible for unlocking business potential and activating new client/market opportunities for ING WB’s multinational Corporate and Financial Institution customers operating in Czech Republic and Slovakia.You work in close cooperation with the other TS Product Manager, colleagues in TS Sales and other stakeholders in- and outside of ING, including the Global TS Product Managers in Amsterdam, Client Services, Operations, IT and Risk Management counterparts. You represent your countries in the TS Product Management Network, which covers TS Product Management in Europe and Asia.You will share a responsibility with the local TS Sales team to improve ING’s performance, measured through customer satisfaction, and identify opportunities to better serve and delight our customers. In addition, you are responsible to translate customer needs and market trends concerning ‘Daily Banking’ solutions into concrete proposals and tailored solutions.As Commercial Product Manager you report functionally to the Head of Product Management Network in Amsterdam and hierarchically to the Head of Transaction Services CZ&SK in Prague.Key responsibilitiesYou collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement Transaction services product-related projects (in the area of Payments, Cash and Liquidity, Trade, Digital Channels etc.)As a Commercial Product Manager, you represent the voice of the customer, have a strong vision on how to attract customers and focus on continuously improving the product experienceYou participate in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects to ensure timely delivery and alignment with company goalsYou take ownership of risk management to assess and mitigate financial and non-financial risk while operating simple standardized business processesYou have a constant focus on cost efficiency in order to be able to compete in the marketYou play a proactive role in setting priorities based on customer needs and supported by business cases and rationale for product development and changeYou are accountable for executing risk & control compliancy and mitigation of business and operational risksYou maintain contact with external parties and stakeholders (suppliers, industry experts, consultants, regulators etc)You collect relevant industry-related trends and informationYou develop and propose strategies for project-related tasks and other initiatives requiring follow-up and/or intervention from front office teams, including evaluating potential impact of IT changes and migrations on our clientsYou will represent WB TS in Incident Management processes and advise on follow-up actions and communication towards clientsRequired skills and experienceHigher education or University education (Bachelor’s or Master’s) preferably in Economics, Accounting or FinanceMinimum of 3-5 years of work experience in servicing and advising multinational clients in the areas of Transaction Services, including Payments, Channels, Cash & Liquidity and TradeA sound understanding of daily banking products (both Cash and Trade), Client Servicing and other related client needsKnowledge of financial messaging systems for corporate and correspondent banking operations such as MultiCash, EBICS and SWIFTProven track record in product and/or program managementAbility to steer and guide large and complex projects or changes within or outside of the bankAbility to combine client focus with delivery powerStrong organizational sensitivity skills to understand and consider the underlying issues, opportunities and dynamics of a global organizationYou can display style flexibility with teams and individuals where needed being able to adapt plan, approach and behavior to different needs and situationsYou possess strong communication skills and you can cooperate well with senior client representatives and different types of internal stakeholdersExcellent level in Czech/Slovak and English, both written and verbalBe proficient in MS Excel; MS Access is a plusRight to work in the Czech RepublicWhat we offerThe position involves contacts with many different ING departments & clients as well as ING’s strong international network.
