  • Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives. Identify new business opportunities and market trends to drive revenue growth.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as marketing, operations, and finance, to align commercial activities with organizational goals.
  • Implement long-term product marketing strategy.
  • Plan and organize the implementation of the sales & marketing to ensure the achievement of corporate objectives.
  • Provide insights and inputs for marketing & sales initiatives, events, and related budgets.
  • Cross-departmental knowledge sharing.
  • Manage stakeholders’ interfaces and update matrix.

Operational:

  • Lead the sales team in achieving sales targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, negotiate contracts, and close deals. Identify new market segments and develop strategies to expand the customer base.
  • Develop pricing strategies to maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market. Manage contract negotiations and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive intelligence. Use this information to develop effective marketing strategies and product positioning.
  • Manage and implement Product & Marketing Plans with clear goals, timings, and accountability.
  • Update based on results and alignment requirements.
  • Establish, execute product marketing agreements to meet company sales targets.
  • Work with retailers and marketers to build up the marketing and costumers base of the products in accordance with the strategic marketing plan for domestic and international growth strategies.
  • Work in partnership with Technical Development to determine the optimal product types, sizes and tastes that will appeal to the target markets.
  • Utilize competitive intelligence system and take appropriate action to maximize marketplace advantages and minimize potential weaknesses.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, including sales revenue, costs, and profitability. Prepare financial reports and forecasts to support decision-making processes.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of commercial professionals. Set performance targets, provide coaching, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including potential partnerships, acquisitions, and market expansion.
  • Conduct comprehensive economic analysis, including market research, cost-benefit analysis, and financial modelling, to evaluate potential investments and assess the viability of caning factory projects.
  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks, such as pricing fluctuations, market volatility, and regulatory changes. Implement effective risk management strategies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to negotiate and finalize commercial agreements, ensuring favourable terms and conditions.
  • Contribute to the development of long-term business strategies by providing economic insights, identifying potential growth areas, and evaluating market entry strategiesIdentify new business opportunities, analyze market trends, and stay updated on industry developments.
  • Ensure periodic audits to ensure templates, placards, banners, and any other visual aids that carry the logos and corporate formats are consistent through regular checks and controls.
  • Responsible to maintain, update and continually improve IMS Standards (ISO 22000, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and Halal Management.

RequirementsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Finance, Business administration or any other related field. A master’s degree is preferable.ExperienceMinimum of 12 years’ experience in a relevant field, of which at least 3 years be at /managerial level.Other requirements:1.The candidate who will be representing the company for the service should have work clearance/visa to work in Oman.2.The candidate should have a valid driving license3.The candidate should have proven experience in selling canned tuna and sardine products
