  • Extensive Experience: Proven senior-level expertise in sales and key account management within the Consumer Health Care (CHC) and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sectors, showcasing a strong track record in strategic commercial leadership and sales planning.
  • Industry Insight: In-depth understanding of the CHC/FMCG landscape, including market dynamics and consumer behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Nordics sales achievement: Drive and exceed sales targets across diverse geographical markets, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Nordics strategic implementation: Execute marketing strategies and plans in collaboration with the Nordics brand lead and global business unit, adapting them to local market needs.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Coaching and Mentorship: Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to sales team members, fostering their professional growth and enhancing their sales skills into all OTC channels
  • Performance Management: Establish clear performance metrics and regularly assess team performance, providing constructive feedback and recognition to motivate high achievers.
  • Training Programs: Design and implement comprehensive training programs that equip the sales team with the necessary tools and knowledge to excel in their roles and new markets
  • Team Motivation & Performance: Foster a high-performance culture, ensuring team motivation and adherence to performance standards through regular team-building activities and recognition programs.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Lead effective CRM initiatives, leveraging sales force effectiveness tools to optimize customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Sales forecasting and budget planning: Build and execute a well-resourced sales budget, with clear forecasting adjustments throughout the year.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to industry codes of practice and local regulations, promoting ethical sales practices within the team.
  • Market Insights: Gather and disseminate insights regarding market conditions and customer needs to inform strategic decisions and enhance competitive positioning.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strategic Vision: Exceptional capability to conceptualize and implement impactful commercial strategies.
  • Leadership & Influence: Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead teams towards shared business goals, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
  • Analytical & Decision-Making Skills: Strong aptitude for analyzing complex scenarios and making data-driven decisions.
  • Communication Proficiency: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, crucial for effective collaboration with teams and engagement with stakeholders
  • Language: Fluent in either Danish, Swedish or Norwegian as well as in English
  • Travel: The role requires a significant amount of travelling around the Nordics region
