Your hourly rate will be based on the year of study at school.Contract: 4 months starting May 2025Metrolinx is connecting communities across the Greater Golden Horseshoe. Metrolinx operates GO Transit and UP Express, as well as the PRESTO fare payment system. We are also building new and improved rapid transit, including GO Expansion, Light Rail Transit routes, and major expansions to Toronto’s subway system, to get people where they need to go, better, faster, and easier. Metrolinx is an agency of the Government of Ontario.At Metrolinx, equity, diversity and inclusion are essential to living our values of serving with passion, thinking forward and playing as a team.Our Internal Audit department is looking for a CO-OP Student to assist with the planning, execution, and reporting of results related to the annual Internal Audit plan. The CO-OP Students will work with internal partners to provide support in the completion of required tasks and deliverables. You will report to the Manager, Fraud and Forensics.What will I be doing?

• Provides a variety of administrative and/or technical services to support the team which may include: preparing reports, memos, documents; maintains and updates electronic and hardcopy filing systems; provides record management services
• Develops spreadsheets, forms, and databases to input, track, store and retrieve data
• Work with internal and external partners to collect data, respond to queries and exchange information
• Help produce daily/weekly/monthly operational documentation and reports, as assigned
• Provide support to staff in a variety of areas, including gathering, inputting, organizing, and interpreting data for reports/presentations/meetings/projects
• Prepare agendas, coordinate, attend, and take minutes for daily technical/operational meetings
• Certain travel and/or field work may occasionally be required

What Skills and Qualifications Do I Need?

• Must be attending school full-time and returning to an academic institution
• Must be at least 15 years of age before starting employment
• Enrolled in (Business Administration, Project Management, Data Analytics, etc) at a post-secondary institution
• Interest in rail transportation, transit and/or capital project delivery
• Strong written, oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with and assist other co-workers with various projects
